Jason Coleman is the Co-Founder / Executive Director of Project SYNCERE which stands for Supporting Youth’s Needs with Core Engineering Research Experiments. After graduating from the University of Southern California, Jason saw a need in the marketplace and along with two of his friends decided to solve a problem. Project Syncere is a not-for-profit organization, which provides STEM programming to youth in under-served communities. The mission of Project SYNCERE is to increase the number of minority, female, and under-served students pursuing careers in STEM fields. Worst Entrepreneur Moment
Haven’t had one of those moments yet in my entrepreneurial career.
Entrepreneur ‘Ah-ha’ Moment
After graduating USC, I realized there was a huge need to fill an engineering gap in my community. After talking with some friends and seeing they saw the same need, it was a “no-brainer”.
What has you REVVED up?
I AM the child that we are currently serving. Because I didn’t have anyone when I was growing up to expose me to STEM, this is what drives me.
